Currency Transfer

 

At some stage, you will need to arrange to transfer Sterling into US dollars. You are free to do this through your own UK bank or to use a specialist currency transfer company. We have an arrangement with a number of companies, including one , for example based in Windsor called HIFX (Halewood International Foreign Exchange ), who are experts in this field and who will almost certainly offer you a much more attractive rate of exchange than even your own bank in the UK. 

 

You should contact either Halewood or your own chosen transfer specialist before leaving the UK to set up an account so that money can be transferred once you have a US bank account and have found a property.
